Any of the groups and organizations listed below can help YOU get your pets fixed now, BEFORE they breed, which can happen as early as FOUR MONTHS of age in cats.  Most cats and dogs can be safely altered at just EIGHT weeks of age when they weigh THREE or more pounds.

Oregon Spay Neuter Fund - provides a downloadable coupon good for discounted spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats at several Portland area veterinary clinics (listed on coupon).  An appointment IS required for surgery.

Animal Shelter Alliance of Portland - puts on the Spay-N-Save program FOR CATS ONLY (serving the counties of Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, and Clark).

Oregon Humane Society - offers SNAP discount coupons or their Spay/Neuter loan program to facilitate dog fixes. Phone: 503-285-7722

The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO) - provides a package of services for feral (untame) cats that includes the fix, vaccines, flea, worm and ear mite treatments. Phone: 503-797-2606

Salem Friends of Felines - provides assistance in getting feral cats fixed in Marion and Polk counties.

Homeward Bound Pets - provides transport to a veterinarian in Tigard who performs discounted spay/neuter for Yamhill county cats. Phone: 503-472-0341
